Martha Goode Read

Martha Goode was born in 1826 in Charlotte Co., Va. Martha Goode's father was Dr. Isaac Read and her mother was Panthea Burwell. Her paternal grandparents were Reverend Clement Read and Clarissa Jane Edmunds. She had a brother named Capt. Melancthon Clement. She was the younger of the two children. She died at the age of 81 in 1907 in Lynchburg, Va.
