Lieutenant Clement Read 
Lieutenant Clement was born on June 13th, 1759. Lieutenant Clement's father was Colonel Clement, Jr. Read and his mother was Mary Nash. His paternal grandparents were Col. Clement Reade and Mary Hill; his maternal grandfather was Judge John Nash. He had three brothers and a sister, named Capt. John Nash, Harrison, Thomas and Mary Hill. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 22 on August 1st, 1781 in American Revolution.General Notes
