Leta Clementine was born on March 25th, 1884 in Palestine, Anderson Co., Texas.1 Leta Clementine's father was Dr. William Joseph Calhoun Lawrence and her mother was Frances (Fannie) Doss. Her paternal grandparents were Colonel William Howard Lawrence and Clarissa Moody Givens; her maternal grandparents were Seaborn Peyton Doss and Frances Stansell. She had three sisters named Erma Mary, Clarissa May and William Joseph Calhoun. She was the second youngest of the four children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named John Ray and May Willmott. She died at the age of 82 on May 28th, 1966 in San Antonio, Bexar Co., TX. She was buried in San Antonio, Bexar Co., TX.1 1 -
