Colonel Demetrius James

Colonel Demetrius was born in 1678.¹ Colonel Demetrius' father was William, Esq. of Ightham Court James and his mother was Anne Wyndham. His paternal grandparents were Sir Demetrius James of Ightham Court and Anne Bate; his maternal grandfather was Sir Thomas, Baronet of Trent, Somerset Wyndham. He had two brothers and a sister, named John, William and Richard.¹
