Thomas Goode 
Thomas was born in Amelia Co., Va. Thomas' father was Philip Goode. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Goode and Miss Burwell. He had a brother and a sister, named John Collier and Sally F.. Thomas is no longer alive.General Notes

This Thomas Goode was known among his kinsmen as "River Tom," to
distinguish him from his cousin of the same name. He was a wealthy man
for his time, and in 1840 removed to Cole Co., Mo., with his entire
family. (See page 400.) His wife was Eliza Royall Jones. The record of
392 on page 76 is erroneous; later information enables me to give full
accounts of his descendants on pages 271 and 400. Cancel No. 392. p. 77
