James Samuel Goode 
James Samuel was born on January 23rd, 1822. James Samuel's father was Burwell Goode and his mother was Elizabeth Smith. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Goode and Mary Collier. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named James Smith, Samuel, Thomas Milton, John Collier, Philip Gatch, George Henry, Daniel Gaines, Burwell Smith, Martha Ann and Mary Elizabeth.
