Freeman Goode 
Freeman was born about 1790. Freeman's father was John Goode and his mother was Ann Freeman. His paternal grandfather was Samuel Goode. He had a brother and five sisters, named John, Talitha, Dau of John, Elizabeth, Lucinda and Frances. He died about 1870 in Lawrence Co., AL.General Notes

Colonel Freeman goode, of Lawrence Co., Alabama, son of No. 196, was born
about 1790 and died about 1870. A wealthy planter of high standing. At
the age of sixty he married a young girl whose giddiness and improvidence
reduced him to poverty. It is said that he died of a broken heart.
