Fanny's father was John Turpin Goode and her mother was Barbara Warlick. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Goode and Sarah F. Elliott. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Jimmy, David, Dr. N. A., Thomas F., Julius, William, Augustus, Mary, Dicy and Sally.-
