Edith of's father was Frederick of Formbach and her mother was Gertrude of Haldensleben. Her paternal grandparents were Count Thimo II of Formbach and UNKNOWN Unk; her maternal grandparents were Count Conrad of Haldensleben and UNKNOWN Unk. She was an only child. She died about 1076.1
