John, Jr. was born in 1747 in Rockbridge Co., VA. John, Jr.'s father was John, Sr. Fletcher and his mother was Eleanor Hindman. His paternal grandparents were Andrew, Sr. Fletcher and Mary Wilson; his maternal grandparents were James Hindman and UNKNOWN Unk. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Robert, Sr., Henry, Job, Sr, James, Agnes and Margaret. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died in Adair Co., KY.-
