Joseph was born about 1630 in Durham, Me. Joseph's father was Darby Field and his mother was UNKNOWN Unk. His paternal grandparents were John, Jr. Field and Elen Hutchinsson. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Lieutenant Zachariah, Zachary, Mary, Elizabeth and Sarah. He died before 1694 in Oyster River later Durham, N.H..-
