General Nathanial Wilson Duke 
General Nathanial Wilson was born in 1806 in Washington, Mason Co., Ky. General Nathanial Wilson's father was Doctor Basil Duke and his mother was Charlotte Marshall. His paternal grandparents were James Duke and Mary Brome-Wilson; his maternal grandparents were Colonel Thomas Marshall and Mary Randolph Keith. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Thomas M., James K., John Marshall, Mary W., Lucy Ann and Charlotte Jane. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 46 in 1852 in Paris, Ky.-
