Henry Boyce was born on March 9th, 1872. Henry Boyce's father was Prof. Powhatan Clarke and his mother was Louise F. Boyce. His paternal grandparents were Colin Clarke and Mary Goode Lyle; his maternal grandparents were Judge Thomas Henry Boyce and Irene Archinand. He had a brother and a sister, named Lieutenant Powhatan H. and Mary Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the three children.General Notes
