Letitia was born about 1786. Letitia's father was John C. Breckenridge and her mother was Mary Hopkins Cabell. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Breckenridge and UNKNOWN Lettice; her maternal grandparents were Colonel Joseph Cabell and Mary Hopkins. She had four brothers and a sister, named Joseph Cabell, Robert, Rev. John, William and Mary.-
