Thomas II was born on December 23rd, 1802 in Richmond, Virginia.1 Thomas II's father was Thomas I Branch and his mother was Mary Patteson. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin III Branch and Anne Bass. He was an only child. He died at the age of 85 on November 20th, 1888.1 General Notes
