Matthew I Branch 
Matthew I was born in 1661 in Henrico County, Virginia.1 Matthew I's father was Thomas I Branch and his mother was Elizabeth Gough. His paternal grandparents were Christopher Branch and Mary Addie. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Thomas II, James, Elizabeth and Martha. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 61 in 1722 in Henrico County, Virginia.1 General Notes
