Clarence Arthur "Art" was born on December 30th, 1898 in Crookston, Minnesota. Clarence Arthur "Art"'s father was Peter Lawrence Renne and his mother was Karen Kristine Malterud. His paternal grandparents were Ole Pederson Renne and Clara Larsdatter Schøl; his maternal grandparents were Johannes Johannessen Malterud and Maria Olsdatter Qvaxrud. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Joseph Oliver, Conrad Lawrence, Carl Theodore "Ted", Louise Caroline, Clara Marie and Edel Luella. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 72 on May 29th, 1971 in Lake Minnetonka, Minnesota. He was buried in Crystal Lake Cemetary, Minneapolis, MN.-
