John III Baron of was born in 1331 in Raby, England.  John III Baron of's father was Ralph IV Neville and his mother was Alice De Audley.  His paternal grandparents were Randolph III Neville and Euphemia De Clavering; his maternal grandparents were Hugh I Earl of Gloucester De Audley and Isolde De Mortimer.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 57 in 1388 in Newcastle.
