William Sheldon Meeks 
William Sheldon was born in 1798. William Sheldon's father was Littleton Meeks and his mother was Elizabeth Ivie. His paternal grandfather was William Meeks; his maternal grandparents were John Lott Ivie and Winifred UNKNOWN. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John, Mark, Jesse, Littleton Jr., Nacy, Elizabeth, Martha and Susan. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 93 in 1891.-
