Charles I King of France was born in 1236 in France.  Charles I King of France's father was Louis IX King of France Capet and his mother was Margaret Queen of France De Provence.  His maternal grandfather was Raymond IV Beranger.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 49 on January 7th, 1285 in Foggia, France.
