Notes for JOSIAH BUMPAS:
Josiah lived in Rochester, later called Wareham, until 1747 when he moved with his family to CT, apparently near Lyme. In 1754 he moved to East Haddam, CT. Three of his sons, Isaac, Josiah and Reuben moved more or less at the same time, around 1789, to Brattleboro, VT. Reuben and possibly Reuben moved shortly thereafter to Jericho, NY.
