Narrative
On 10 May 1677 Martha Wait, widow of Jeremiah, bought land in Portsmouth of Daniel Wilcox, Sr. On 8 Mar 1677 she bought land at Little Compton, R.I. of her brother Robert Brownell. In her will, dated 29 Jan 1734 and proved 12 Mar 1744, she bequethed to her Brownell relatives. [NEHGR, 73,1919,292]
