Narrative

At age 10 or 12 in Indiana, Abigail Sisson cared for the family during an
epidemic. After Jacob Lyon's, her husband's death, Abigail (Sisson) Lyon
went to Flint, Michigan, to live with her son James, then returned east
to live with he daughters Mary and Ann. She is buried in Kings Cemetery.
See notes for Jacob regarding the location of Kings Cemetery. Abigail
lived in Ithaca, Tompkins County, New York, at the time that her father
Philip Sisson, Jr's, estate was being administered in 1833 and 1834.
