Benjamin Tripp bought land from Simeon and Patience Randall on 19 Feb 1790 (bk2p377) for 90 pounds. It was 34 acres bound by the Old Colony Line, Abial Tripp, by the line dividing the head lots, Deborah Tripp. Benjamin and Sarah Tripp began selling their land on 28 March 1795 (Bk2p587) when they sold 22 acres to Albro Tripp - bounds by pitch pine on the Old Colony Line, George Dorrance to the River, crossing the Quondoc River. On 4 Aug 1797 (bk3p69) they sold for $340 to Jonah Young of Sterling, Ct. land they bought of the Randalls (this was a mortgage), later repaid. On 23 Dec 1799 (bk3p237), Benjamin and Sarah sold 16 acres for $200 to Alexander Dorrance and on 14 Dec 1801 they sold to Joseph Griffiths of Sterling, Ct. part of a piece in Foster, and is the tract that Abial bequeathed in will with a dwelling house and a corn crib, bounded by Old Colony Line, land Benjamin sold Southward Griffiths, west by Deborah Tripp, north by Alexander Kennedy. There were 34 ½ acres. On the same day they had sold 19 acres to Southward Griffiths (bk3p367) that came to Benjamin from the will. These deeds were witnessed by Benjamin Wells, Southward Griffiths, Joseph Griffiths.
The 1801 deeds are the last mention I found of Benjamin. He married Sarah Albro. My source for that, a Place Genealogy, gives 1752 - 1824/1829 for Benjamin. I wonder if he left RI?
