Vol 25 p 340 1641 3m 30da 1st Church of Charlestown Tabitha Wood daug Edward and Ruth, his wife baptised.
Vol 99 p77 states Ruth Wood, daughter of Edward, was taken into the household
of her grandfather, Ralph Mousall at the time of her parents' death in 1642,
when she was about five years old, and reared as his own daughter. Not true as as his will was dated 1657.
Vol 123 p 230, 231 gives us his children by way of his son Thomas Wood will.*

*Thomas Wood was a son of the Edward Wood, admitted to the Church at
Charlestown 30:1mo:1640; died 29:6mo:1642. Only his inventory, taken 4:10
mo:1642, is extant in the Suffolk County Probates. His wife, Ruth, died
27:9mo:1642.It is probable that Edward was newly come to America in 1640 and
that all the children were born in England with the exception of the daughter
Tabitha who was born and died in Charlestown in 1641.
Thomas Wood mentions in his will his brother Obadiah. From these various we
can reconstruct the family of Edward and Ruth (--) Wood. 1. Elizabeth, m.
before 15: 3mo:1642 when she was Church at Charlestown Solomon Phipps. 2.
Obadiah, probably the eldest son. 3. Josiah, d. 24 Seo 1691 ae 62. 4. Thomas,
born about 1633. 5. Ruth, d. 18 Jan 1696/7 ae 60; married in Malden 14:2 mo:
1658 Lt. Phineas Upham.
she was admitted to te Church at Charlestown Solomon Phipps. 2. Obadiah,
probably the eldest son. 3. Josiah, died 24
