Matilda le Boteler

Matilda was born about 1225 in of Lincoln, Lincolnshire.¹ Matilda's father was Theobald le Botiller and her mother was Rohesia de Verdun. Her paternal grandparents were Theobald le Botiller and Maud le Vavasour; her maternal grandparents were Nicholas de Verdun and Joan de Lacy. She had a brother named John de Verdon. She was the older of the two children. She had a half-brother named Theobald. She died on November 27th, 1283.¹
