Cecily was born about 1253 in Wellingotn, Somerset, England. Cecily's father was Fortibus William de Vivonia and her mother was Maud (Matilda) de Ferrers. Her paternal grandparents were Hugh de Vivonia and Mabel Malet. She was an only child.
