His paternal grandparents were John Washburn and Martha Timbrell Stephens; his maternal grandparents were Robert Moore and Ellen Taylor. He had a brother named Philip. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 66 on November 12th, 1686 in Bridgewater, Plymouth, MA.1 -
