David Van Gilder 
David was born in 1864 in Petersburg, Cape May, NJ.1 David's father was David Van Gilder and his mother was Mary Cresse. His paternal grandparents were Ezekial Van Gilder and Mary Chapman. He had a brother and six sisters, named Theophilus, Ellena, Victorine, Medora, Amelia, Elizabeth and Clara. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 65 in 1929.1 -
