Abiel Tripp 
Abiel was born in 1653 in Portsmouth, Newport, RI. Abiel's father was John Tripp and his mother was Mary Paine. His paternal grandparents were John Tripp and Isabel Moses; his maternal grandparents were Anthony Paine and Rose Potter. He had five brothers and five sisters, named John, Peleg, Joseph, James, Sylvanus, Mary, Elizabeth, Martha, Alice and Isabel. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 31 on September 10th, 1684.-
