Martin Thurber 
Martin was born on January 14th, 1753 in Providence, Providence, RI.1 Martin's father was Samuel Thurber and his mother was Hopestill Martin. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Thurber and Rachel Wheeler; his maternal grandparents were Edward Martin and Rebecca Peck. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, Squire, Edward, Rebecca, Hope, Rachel and Lydia. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 30 on August 29th, 1783.1 -
