John Strong 
John was born on August 4th, 1778. John's father was Simeon Strong and his mother was Sarah Wright. His paternal grandparents were Nehemiah Strong and Hannah French; his maternal grandparents were Stephen Wright and Esther Cook. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Simeon, Hezehiah, Solomon, Lemuel, Polly and Sally. He was the third youngest of the seven children.-
