Hester was born in 1661 in Windsor, CT.1 Hester's father was John Strong and her mother was Abigail Ford. Her paternal grandparents were John Strong and Unknown; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Ford and Elizabeth Charde. She had seven brothers and seven sisters, named Thomas, Jedediah, Return, Ebenezer, Samuel S, Joseph, Jerijah, Abigail, Elizabeth, Experience, Mary, Sarah, Hannah and Thankful. She was the third youngest of the fifteen children. She had two half-brothers named Infant and John. She died at the age of 65 in 1726 in Windsor, Hartford, CT.1 -
