Ebenezer was born in 1544 in Taunton, Somerset, England.1 Ebenezer's father was John Strong. His paternal grandfather was Robert Strong. He had a brother named George. He was the older of the two children. He died about 1567 in Taunton, Somerset, England.1 General Notes

Note: There is a very large family of Strong's that begin with a George Strong, who was a contemporary of Ebenezer Strong. John Strong, grandson of George, immigrated to MA and had 25 children. There is no proven link between George and Ebenezer.
