Josiah Storrs 
Josiah was born in 1721 in Mansfield, Tolland, CT.1 Josiah's father was Thomas Storrs and his mother was Mehitable Joyce. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Storrs and Esther Egard; his maternal grandparents were Hosea Joyce and Elizabeth Chipman. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Cornelius, Thomas, Prince, Judah, Lemuel, Amariah, Mehitabel, Rebecca, Zerviah and Anna. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children.-
