Joseph G was born on August 16th, 1812 in Marcellus, Onondaga, NY.1 Joseph G's father was George Stolp and his mother was Catherine Stall. His paternal grandparents were Johannes Pieter Stolp and Catrina Chrysler; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Stall and Mary Unknown. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named John, Peter D, Mary Polly, Nancy, Catherine, Rachel, Elizabeth, Margaret and Sarah. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 87 in 1899 in Aurora, Kane, IL.1 -
