George B was born on August 2nd, 1895 in Chicago, Cook, IL.1 George B's father was Walter Jay Stolp and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Buchanan. His paternal grandparents were George Andrews Stolp and Celstia L Hoyt. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Donald B, John Douglas, Thelma Hoyt, Elizabeth Hoyt and Gertrude Alice. He was the oldest of the six children.-
