Eliza DeMott was born in 1868 in Ocean View, Cape May, NJ.1 Eliza DeMott's father was Henry Shaw and her mother was Rebecca Mattox Gandy. Her maternal grandparents were John Gandy and Martha Corson. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Francis Gandy, Lewis Corson Gandy, Lewis Corson Gandy, Irving C, Harry DeMott, Martha Gandy and Ida. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 27 in 1895 in NJ.1 -
