Samuel Root 
Samuel was born in 1675 in Westfield, Hampden, MA.1 Samuel's father was John Root and his mother was Mary Ashley. His paternal grandparents were John Root and Mary Kilbourn; his maternal grandparents were Robert Ashley and Mary Eddy. He had three sisters named Mary, Sarah and Mercy. He died at the age of 81 in 1756 in Westfield, Hampden, MA.1 -
