Joseph Riggs

Joseph was born in 1642 in Milford, New Haven, CT.¹   Joseph's father was Edward Riggs and his mother was Elizabeth Roosa.  His paternal grandparents were Edward Riggs and Elizabeth Holmes; his maternal grandparents were Heyman Roosa and Metje G DeRoos. He had two brothers and a sister, named Edward, Samuel and Mary.  He was the second oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 47 in 1689 in Newark, Essex Co, NJ.¹
