Anarawd ap Rhodri was born in 0857 in of Gwynedd, Wales.1 Anarawd ap Rhodri's father was Rhodri Mawr Ap Merfyn the Prince of Wales and his mother was Angharad verch Meurig. His paternal grandparents were Merfyn Ap Gwriad the Freckled King of Gwynedd and Nesta verch Cadell; his maternal grandfather was Meurig ap Dyfnwallon. He had two brothers named Merfyn ap Rhodri Mawr and Cadell ap Rhodri Mawr. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 59 in 0916.1 -
