Mary was born in 1655 in Windsor, Hartford, CT.1 Mary's father was Thomas Parsons and her mother was Lydia Brown. Her paternal grandparents were William Parsons and Margaret Hoskins. She had five brothers and two sisters, named William, Thomas, John, Ebenezer, Samuel, Bethia and Abigail. She was the second youngest of the eight children.-
