Benjamin was born in 1625 in Canterbury, England.1   Benjamin's father was William Parsons and his mother was Margaret Hoskins. He had three brothers named William, Thomas and Joseph Cornet.  He was the youngest of the four children.  He died at the age of 64 in 1689 in Springfield, Hampden, MA.1
