Josephine was born on February 27th, 1873 in Wyoming Valley, Iowa, WI.1 Josephine's father was John Todd Morris and her mother was Mary Ellen Joyner. Her maternal grandparents were Lemuel Whiting Joyner and Cynthia Anne Lucas. She had two brothers and four sisters, named George Henry, Robert Alvin, Florence, Rowena B, Anna Ruth and Jessie Eleanor. She was the second oldest of the seven children.-
