Leopold II was born about 1055 in Tulin, Niedereosterreich, Austria. Leopold II's father was Ernst "The Valiant" Markgraf of Austria and his mother was Adelheid Princess of Ostmark. His paternal grandparents were Adalbert "The Victorius" Margrave of Ostmark and Frwoila Princess Orseolo; his maternal grandparents were Dedi II Margrave of Ostmark and Oda Princess of Lausatia. He was an only child. He died on October 12th, 1096.-
