Andras II of Hungary was born in 1176 in of Esztergom, Komaron-Esztergom, Hungary.1 Andras II of Hungary's father was Béla III "Harmadik Béla" King of Hungary and his mother was Agnes de Châtillon-sur-Marne. His paternal grandparents were Géza II "Masodik Géza" King of Hungary and Euphrosyne of Kiev; his maternal grandparents were Renaud de Châtillon Prince of Antioch and Constance Guiscard Pss of Antioch. He was an only child. He died at the age of 59 on September 21st, 1235 in Eger, Heves, Hungary.1 -
