Mark Boynton was born in 1894 in , Iowa, WI.1 Mark Boynton's father was Clark A Hickcox and his mother was Martha Boynton Joyner. His maternal grandparents were Lemuel Whiting Joyner and Cynthia Anne Lucas. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Ross T, Robert Louis, Clark Albert, Frank Joiner, Neil Dow, George Whiting, Alvin Green, Gail Evangeline, Ida May and Winifred Louisa. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died in Carlsbad, San Diego, CA.1 -
