William Harms

William was born in 1825 in Liberty, Sullivan, NY.¹   William's father was Charles Harms and his mother was Sally Unknown.  His paternal grandparents were Jacob Harms and Margaret Lomax. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Charles, Edwin, Henry, Catherine, Louisa J and Mary A.  He was the oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 60 in 1885 in Sycamore, DeKalb, IL.¹
