Nancy was born on February 5th, 1784 in , Campbell, KY.1 Nancy's father was Joseph Hanks and her mother was Nancy Shipley. Her paternal grandfather was John Hanks. She was an only child. She died at the age of 34 on October 5th, 1818 in Gentryville, Spencer, IN.1
