Thomas Gilbert 
Thomas was born in 1612 in Bath, Somerset, England.1 Thomas' father was John Gilbert and his mother was Alice Hopkins. His paternal grandparents were Giles Gilbert and Joan Pearce; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Hopkins and Katherine Unknown. He was an only child. He died at the age of 45 in 1657 in Taunton, Bristol, MA.1
